Topher was born to very patient parents in Toronto. Inspired at the
age of four by a Buddy Rich Muppet Show appearance, he began playing
the pots and pans and eventually worked his way up to real
instruments. At the age of 11, he began touring North America with
drum corps and eventually rock and funk bands.
Topher received his Bachelor of Fine Arts honours degree in 99 and
was very pleased to be asked back to be a professor in the
prestigious Music program teaching contemporary improvisation in
2002.
Topher is currently very busy as a drummer and producer in Toronto.
He is also the creative producer for the League Of Rock, a company
that offers real life professional musical experiences to the
amateur musicians.
